This page has been created in memory of a Great Man, who put endless hours of work into our football club, & always did it with a smile.  A genuinely lovely guy who will be greatly missed by everyone at Wythall Juniors Football Club.

If you would like to make a donation in memory of Ian, donations will be taken via Thomas Brothers Funeral Directors, Birchfield House, 494 Evesham Road, Redditch.
These donations will be split equally between MIND and British Heart Foundation.

If you wish to place a message on the site, please e-mail Ant with your message, with pictures & memories also accepted, & I will put them on the board

Ian was one of life's true gentlemen, & genuinely nice man.  He was missed by all at Wythall Juniors so much when he left the club 2 years ago, that he was recruited back into the fold to run our tournaments!!  We couldn't have done it without him - & don't know how we're going to sort this years tournament without him either.  Ian, thank you for gracing us with your great presence, you were a lovely man & will be greatly missed by all of us.

Rest in peace mate

To Sue & family - You are in our thoughts & prayers, in this sad time - God bless you.

Thanks to everyone for the support and the kind messages for my dad.

Although it's extremely difficult and sad, and no words can express what a loss this is ... both myself and the rest of the family want his funeral to be a celebration of his life rather than a sombre occasion all the way through. (I think we'd all agree that he'd want it to be this way).

He thought the world of the club, the coaches, the parents and most of all, all the lads playing for the various age groups.

Thanks again guys and all the best, we'll see some of you on Thursday.

Nick Sanders (and family)

My team have been to the last two Wythall tournaments and have always been made to feel very welcome by Ian througout the day.
He always took time to have a laugh and joke with the kids and managers.
Although i didn`t no Ian on a personal level i am very saddened to hear this news.
